Strasbourg. After breakfast and checkout, we continue the trip to
Strasbourg in France by AC coach. The river cruise starts here. Before we drive to the ship,
we take a short tour of Strasbourg. The city offers a charming atmosphere, beautiful old half-
timbered houses and the European Parliament building, which we drive past. We arrive atthe ship
in the late afternoon and are accommodated in our cabins, and afterwards there is
a welcome drink with a presentation of the crew and dinner in the restaurant.

Today we follow the ship’s excursion around
Strasbourg by tour boat and on foot. We sail past several fantastic places along the
riverbank, including Petite France, which is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List, and to
the European Quarter, where institutions such as the Council of Europe and the European
Parliament are located. We then continue on foot to the magnificent Gothic Cathedral of
Notre Dame, which was built over three centuries. Highlights of the cathedral include the
stained glass windows, the tall Rose Window, the large organ which is a masterpiece to see
as well as hear, and the astronomical clock from the Renaissance. We return by tour boat to
the ship and spend the afternoon sailing on to Breisach, where we arrive at the end of the
day. Enjoy the cruise and in the evening there is entertainment on board.

We have arrived in the charming town of
Breisach, which is located directly on the Rhine. We take a nice little walk in the town, and if
you want, you can go up to the Cathedral of Breisach, which offers a fantastic view of the
town and the Rhine. In the afternoon, there is the opportunity to join the ship’s excursion to
Colmar, where we will experience the charming old town and the city’s historic center with
several prestigious monuments from the 17th century. We take a walk through the town and
enjoy the beauty of colors in the picturesque neighborhood known as “Little Venice”. We
continue to the “Hansi Village and its museum” – an area and museum about Jean-Jacques
Waltz, who was a well-known Alsatian artist and activist, considered a French hero during
both world wars for his criticism of the Germans. The museum displays several of his
significant works and the influence he had on Colmar and the Alsace area. We return to the
ship and sail on to Basel and tonight there is a festive gala evening on the ship.

We take the ship’s bus again on a full-
day excursion to the Jungfrau region. We drive from Basel to Lauterbrunnen (approximately
2.5 hours drive). From there we board the train that will take us through the Eiger and
Mönch mountains to Europe’s highest railway station “Jungfrau”, which is located at an
altitude of over 3,400 meters. The railway was inaugurated in 1912 and climbs steadily
through the spectacular landscape of the Swiss Alps with breathtaking views. When we
reach the top and the station, we again have an astonishing view of the Great Aletsch Glacier
and surrounding peaks. The train trip is an unforgettable experience that combines
adventure, nature and remarkable technology. We have lunch at a restaurant. To return, we
take the train to Eigergletscher Station, where we take a gondola lift to Grindelwald
Terminal. Again, we get a unique view of the Alps. When we arrive in Grindelwald, we drive
back to Basel, where the ship awaits us with dinner. We sail back to Strasbourg during the
evening.

Back in Strasbourg and we enjoy the last
breakfast on board before saying goodbye to the ship and drive back by coach to Frankfurt.

Checkout and early breakfast and transfer to airport for return flight to
India.
